A Night of Reunions: The Wahoowa Gala

Entrepreneurial alumni, students, and faculty from the Wahoowa Network reunite for a night of drinks and conversation.

Under the soft yellow hues of light radiating from Old Metropolitan Hall’s chandeliers, entrepreneurial alumni, students, and friends gathered for a night of drinks and conversation at the Wahoowa Gala on Saturday, April 16th. The night proved a great way to wind down after the 30+ events held over the course of the week for the 2016 Tom Tom Founders Festival, an all-week festival which annually connects hundreds of bands, startups, artists, and visionaries. To create this event, the festival partnered with the Wahoowa Network, a nationwide network that connects hundreds of UVa alumni and students through meetups and educational events in cities such as New York, San Francisco, and of course, Charlottesville. Over good wine, good conversation, and good company, the event created a relaxing atmosphere for the guests to sink into. Below are some of the scenes from that warm Saturday night in downtown Charlottesville:
